David is the Managing Director of David Goldstone Associates, a UK-based executive search firm and an affiliate of SpenglerFox. David has worked in executive search since 1995, a career spanning 25 years, with authenticity and optimism. David’s experience covers a diverse mix of senior roles, organisations and sectors. His network of business leaders has been carefully curated over 25 years.
David was recently Managing Director of Osprey Clarke, the executive search firm, which he joined in 2002. In 2003 he successfully took the business into Penrhyn International, now ranked as a top 10 global network of independent search firms. David also launched Osprey Clarke Interim Executives (now an IIM Gold rated business), Osprey Clarke Emerging Markets and Pandion Research.
In 2005, as a founding partner David helped to establish Not Actively Looking, a market disrupting candidate management system now regarded as an industry standard. He previously worked at Norman Broadbent, where he led the European TMT practice across 7 offices internationally, and HW Group (now part of Hudson), where he specialised in professional services.
