Óscar Sobrón has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the Executive Search sector, having developed most of his career in international environments and participated in numerous executive and senior management search projects for major companies across different markets.
His career has taken him to countries such as Germany, France, Sweden, Colombia and the United States, among others. This has enabled him to develop a multinational perspective that enriches his professional experience and brings significant added value to our clients.
A Founding Partner of Ackermann, he was responsible for the opening of Ackermann Colombia. During the seven years in which he served as Country Manager in the country, he successfully positioned the brand as one of the leading Executive Search firms in Colombia, bringing an innovative and fully personalised approach to executive search.
He currently holds the position of Senior Partner for the Andean Region and Central America, from where he leads the development and coordination of Ackermann’s activity in the region.
Before the creation of Ackermann, Óscar Sobrón served as Director at Nicholson International and Alexander Mann Group. He was also Founder and Director of Accetis International, and previously worked at Ford’s European headquarters in Germany.
He holds a degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in International Trade. He speaks six languages: Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese.
