Julio Moreno has over thirty years of experience dedicated to strategic talent consulting and executive search. He has worked for major publicly traded firms, multinational companies, large family groups, and private equity funds and companies. As an international consultant, he has led or participated in projects in Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras.
He is an expert in succession planning, creating and developing high-performance teams, analyzing and evaluating executive and board member profiles, and talent management and development models.
Before joining Ackermann, Moreno was a key partner at Kingsley Gate and previously led the talent consulting practice at Korn Ferry for nearly two decades and served as a director at Hay Group in Spain. In addition to his extensive experience with talent firms, he has entrepreneurial experience, having founded his own company, Human Capital Consulting, and served as Operations Director at Figurtecnia, where he managed a team of over 3,400 healthcare professionals. He began his professional career at EY.
